1. Who we are
CorrPRE Engineering B.V. (trading as corrPRE Engineering and Corrpre Special Anodes Manufacturing) (“CorrPRE”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of your personal data.

Our webshop is intended for business customers and not directed to individuals under 16. For any privacy-related questions, please contact us at info@corrpre.com.

2. What data we collect
CorrPRE does not collect payment card details via this webshop. For the webshop we may collect:
- Account details: name, company, email address, phone number, address (if provided), login data
- Quote request details: selected products, quantities, specifications, project notes, attachments (if applicable)
- Comments and messages you submit via the webshop (if applicable)
- Communication: emails and correspondence with our team
- Technical data: IP address, device/browser information, and server logs (security and troubleshooting)
- Cookies and similar technologies: see section 11
We collect this data directly from you and/or from your use of the webshop (e.g. technical logs).
3. What we use your data for
We use your data to:
- Comply with legal and accounting obligations where applicable
- Create and manage your account
- Process and handle quote requests (including technical verification)
- Communicate with you about your request, products, specifications, pricing and availability
- Provide customer support and improve website functionality (we do not use analytics tools)
- Maintain security, prevent misuse and troubleshoot issues
- Payments: We do not process online payments via this webshop. Payments are handled outside the webshop via invoice and email correspondence.
4. Providing personal data
We create webshop accounts for our customers. To set up an account and process quote requests, we require certain personal data (such as a name and email address). If we do not receive the required information, we may be unable to create an account and/or process a quote request.
Please do not submit sensitive personal data (such as health information) via notes or attachments. If such data is provided, we may delete or redact it where reasonably possible.
5. Legal basis (GDPR)
We process personal data based on:
- Steps prior to entering a contract (processing quote requests) (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- Legitimate interests (customer support, website security, improving services) (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
- Legal obligation (e.g. invoicing/administration where applicable) (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, only where applicable): Only if you explicitly opt in to a specific feature that requires it (e.g. non-essential cookies). Currently, no marketing cookies are used and no newsletters are sent.
6. Sharing your data (processors and recipients)
We may share your data with trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, such as:
- Website hosting and IT providers
- Email/communication providers (including SMTP/email delivery via Google (Gmail/Google Workspace))
- Security service providers (firewall and malware scanning)
- Backup and storage providers
- Image optimisation providers
- Quotation and customer administration tools
These providers process data on our behalf and under appropriate contractual safeguards. We do not sell your personal data.
7. International transfers
If any service provider is located outside the EEA and/or the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (for example Standard Contractual Clauses).
8. Data retention
We keep personal data no longer than necessary for the purposes described above. Typical retention periods:
- Security logs: 90 days
- Account data: for as long as the account is active and 12 months thereafter
- Quote requests and related correspondence: 24 months
- Legal/financial records (if applicable): 7 years
9. Your rights
Rights include access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability (where applicable). Where processing is based on consent, consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Requests can be submitted by emailing info@corrpre.com from the email address linked to the account, using the subject line “Privacy request”. A response is usually provided within 5 working days. Where a request is complex or additional verification is needed, the response time may be longer, up to one month as permitted under the GDPR. Additional information may be requested to verify identity.
Complaints may be lodged with the Dutch supervisory authority: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including HTTPS/TLS, access controls, backups and security monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
11. Cookies
We only use essential cookies and similar technologies that are required for core functionality (such as login, security and maintaining your session). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
12. Comments and spam detection
If you submit comments/messages via the webshop, the content may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
13. Delete account
If you would like us to delete your webshop account, please email info@corrpre.com from the email address linked to your account. We may ask you to verify your identity before we process your request. Please note that certain information may need to be retained where required for legal or accounting purposes.
